Woodstock, VT 05091
The Oneness Meditation includes the transfer of universal divine energy given to a group, with the specific intention to awaken consciousness. Benefits are similar to those of Oneness Deeksha, as participants de-clutch from the constantly chattering, divisive mind.
The Oneness meditation will be held in the Chapel located off the lower parking lot behind the church. Enter through the door on the right.

North Chapel Chamber Music Series
On Sunday, October 1st, at 2 pm, the Camerata New England Piano Trio will perform Robert Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces (Op. 88) and Antonin Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 4 in E Minor (Op. 90) (the “Dumky”). The members of the Trio are Omar Güey (violin), Linda Galvan (cello) and Evelyn Zuckerman (piano). Admission is free, but donations to the UU are welcome.
Evensong is reawakening and will be back on Monday, October 2nd. We have changed to Mondays from 5:30-6:30 instead of Fridays and we will be meeting in the Front Parlors due to the construction project that will be going on downstairs. Our meditations usually begin and end with readings, music, or chanting. We usually sit for 40 minutes. It is a refreshing hour and we are always glad we’ve been there. A good way to bring some mindfulness into the week ahead. Questions? Contact Vee at email@example.com or Don at firstname.lastname@example.org or Susan at email@example.com
The Spiritual Exploration for Children and Families Committee has a regular book group where we as parents/guardians get together to read and discuss books that deal with spirituality in its many forms. We can also use this time to discuss our own spiritual path with like minded people. Children are welcome. Bring a snack, and lets enjoy some time together!
Our fifth meeting will be on Thursday October 5th at 6pm. We will get together to discuss the book “The Book of Joy” by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Mpilo Tutu and Douglas Abrams. We will meet at the North Chapel.
Feel free to bring your kiddo/s and we can set them up in the playroom while we chat.
The Amazing Grays will gather next on Sunday, October 8th, 11:30-1:00 in the North Chapel parlors.
The Amazing Grays gather once a month to share our thoughts and feelings about getting older and support one another in our process. We strive to create an environment of safety and trust, to provide a time of quiet as well as a time of sharing, to speak from our own experience, to listen to others with our hearts without judgment, discussion, dialog, question asking, problem-solving or “fixing,” and to treat everything shared as completely confidential.

This fall we’ll begin to show the groundbreaking series called “Belief”. Told through the stories of individuals, we’ll learn about many of the religions of the world. It is produced and narrated by Oprah and is beautifully filmed and thought-provoking.
On Sunday, October 15th, the Belief series will continue after church with a Hindu woman who renews her faith by immersing herself in the Ganges River. A young Jewish boy celebrates his Bar Mitzvah. In Australia, an Aboriginal man takes his grandson on a journey, telling him the stories he must preserve. They are part of the oldest religion in the world.
Mark your calendars, please. It will certainly be worth your time.
